Co-Founder & Operations Manager

Alberto Diez Rojo
Alberto is a results-driven engineer and project manager with more than ten years of experience across the oil and gas industry. His career has taken him through technical, quality, and business development roles in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Spain, Mexico and Colombia, giving him a broad international perspective and a practical understanding of how engineering and operations come together in the field.

Before co-founding Texa-Tech, Alberto worked with leading companies such as BAUER Manufacturing and NEORig (a joint venture with Schlumberger), where he managed large-scale rig manufacturing, FAT and commissioning, and led digital transformation initiatives to streamline processes and improve efficiency. His experience spans from technical design to process optimization and ISO certification.

At Texa-Tech, Alberto oversees operations and project delivery, ensuring that every engagement runs smoothly — from initial concept through execution. Known for his hands-on approach, adaptability, and focus on continuous improvement, Alberto plays a key role in maintaining Texa-Tech’s commitment to quality, reliability, and client satisfaction.

He holds master’s degrees in Oil and Gas Engineering and Mining Engineering, as well as a Bachelor’s in Electromechanical Engineering, graduating as valedictorian.
Co-Founder & Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer
Ginna Caraballo
With a distinguished career in instrumentation, control systems, and functional safety, Ginna leads the I&C team at Texa-Tech. As Lead I&C Engineer at ExxonMobil, she oversaw major control, instrumentation, and safety system integration across multiple international projects, including responsibilities in Systems Networks, DCS interface/integration, PLC design, and Equipment Health Monitoring.

Ginna holds certification in Functional Safety (TÜV Rheinland) and brings extensive experience in Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), manufacturing operations, and cross-disciplinary engineering collaboration. Her strengths lie in solving complex system challenges, designing robust control architectures, and ensuring smooth execution from concept through commissioning.

At Texa-Tech, Ginna is the driving force behind our instrumentation and control services — taking on everything from consultancy support to full engineering design, control panel fabrication, and commissioning assistance. Project Engineer
Juan Valencia
Juan is a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in energy efficiency, heat tracing systems, and industrial design. At Texa-Tech, he supports projects across Instrumentation & Control (I&C), electrical heat tracing design, and drafting/document control, ensuring high-quality and precise engineering deliverables from concept to completion.
​
Before joining Texa-Tech, Juan worked on the design and optimization of steam and condensate recovery systems, helping industrial clients improve energy performance and reliability. His technical expertise includes SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ANSYS, along with hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical system integration.
​
Juan holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, is a Certified Specialist in Energy Efficiency, a Dassault Systèmes Certified SolidWorks Associate, and an Internal Auditor for ISO 50001. His attention to detail and commitment to efficiency make him a key contributor to Texa-Tech’s mission of delivering flexible, high-quality engineering solutions.

Lead Drafting Designer & Heat Trace Specialist
Santiago Tafur
Santiago is a technical draftsman with over 10 years of experience in architectural and engineering design support. As Lead Drafting Designer at Texa-Tech, he oversees the company’s AutoCAD drafting and document control operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project requirements across all deliverables.

He also specializes in heat tracing design, supporting Texa-Tech’s Instrumentation & Control and mechanical engineering services with detailed, high-quality technical drawings. Santiago’s expertise includes AutoCAD 2D/3D, SolidWorks, Inventor, Navisworks, SketchUp, and Lumion, enabling him to deliver precise and visually clear designs for complex industrial projects.

He holds a Technical Degree in Architectural Drafting and a Technologist Degree in Graphic Development of Architectural and Engineering Projects from SENA, along with certifications in 3D Modeling, Industrial Drawing Interpretation, and Electrical Energy Systems. Santiago’s leadership, precision, and commitment to technical excellence make him an integral part of the Texa-Tech team.
